Workshop Description

TCP/IP (Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol) is the common name for the family of protocols used on the public Internet and in most local area networks today.  In this one-day workshop, you'll finally get a handle on how TCP/IP works, including subnetting.  You'll get lots of practice time working on subnetting problems including designing an IP network with subnets.  You'll see how name resolution works in an IP network and you'll get a good introduction to IP version 6 so you'll be ready when it's finally deployed.
